Monsoon Malabar Blue NileMonsoon Malabar Coffee, One of the worlds most exotic coffees, Monsoon Malabar was discovered by accident when a cargo of coffee beans aboard a wooden-hulled ship acquired a unique tang after being somewhat exposed to the elements during a particular monsoon while negotiating the Cape of Good Hope. Exposed to the monsoon winds for a few weeks the coffee flavors become richer and smoother. Monsoon Malabar coffee is full bodied , very low acidity with a spicy woody flavor.

Monsoon Malabar, was the base coffee for the third prize-winning coffee blend brewed and served at this year's World Barista Championship.

Our Monsoon Malabar beans are slow roasted and each bag is dated (roast on dating) to guarantee freshness. All coffee beans come in air tight silver foil bag with one way valves to preserve the great taste. You can choose the desired grind and roast for your coffee. Taste the difference!

In the aroma sweet and pungent with aromatic wood notes and a whiff of fermented fruit. In the cup nutty and sweet; the fermented fruit tones intensify as the cup cools, landing in a potentially intriguing spot somewhere between chocolate and composted apricot.
